differences between watching a movie at home and in the cinema-Micaela

In today’s world families  can choose between watching a film in their houses or going to the cinema. Both options have advantages and disadvantages and in the next paragraph I will write some more about this…

If you go to see a film to the cinema you have a wider screen and also better  sound. The film is better quality and you can choose the film but you  pay for seeing the film and for the food, you have to go at  a specific time and you can’t go out because you may miss a part of the film.

If you decide to see a film in your house, you have the food and the film for free, you can pause the film and  so you won't miss any part. However, the film sometimes comes poorly recorded, the screen and the sound depend on your television and if you don’t have the film you can't see it!

In conclusion I prefer going to the cinema because I have a lot of films to choose and it is most confortable.

Go to the beach or to the mountains, Maria

  Nowadays many people travel to places where there are beaches and/or mountains. Both are wonderful places, however, they have disadvantages.

  Firstly, the beach is a great place where you can sunbathe, suntan, go to the sea, take your pet and have fun with family or friends. But you can also get burnt if you don't put on suncream and in the sand, there are many insects! It could also be windy, and when it rains, you can't go swimming because the sea is dangerous, for instance..

  On the other hand, mountains are  great places to climb, and you can learn new things, experience different weather there, etc. At the same time , if you're climbing, you can fall or slip, and if it rains, you can't climb because the ground may be wet, so you can get hurt.

  In conclusion, both are great places to learn new things and have fun, but they have complications. However, I think it's better to go to the beach because you can't get hurt as much as in the mountains.

My Essay - Karen

 I am going to wirte about the difference between the bands “The Rolling Stones” and “R5” because I love music and I like these bands.

 R5 is a pop music band; the band is from  the USA and it  is formed by Riker Lynch, Rocky Lynch, Ross Lynch, Rydel Lynch, and Ellington Lee Ratliff. They were nominated by Radio Disney Music Awards as the Best Musical Group and The Best Acoustic Interpretation with the song “Loud” in 2013 and also they were named  Teen Icon Awards by Iconic Band.  In 2008, during the first years they had presentations in the Southern  California, San Diego County Fair, San Diego Indie Fest, and Knitting Factory. Their music is a bit slow but also quick sometimes and instrumental!

The band of The Rolling Stones plays Blues music; this band is from the UK and it  is formed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood. They started to play together in  in 1987 ; and won in  1995 3 Grammy Awards for Musical Biography, Best Rock Album andBest Video, for "Love is Strong"  Their music is slower but it has a great rhythm, however.

In conclusion I prefer R5 because they have got more  instruments and voices than Rolling Stones, whose music is  very slow , and they aren’t very funny.

15th Birthday: party or trip?

Nowadays, the girls who are 15 years can go to Disney with her parents or her friends to celebrate their birthdays or can make a party with her parents, family and friends, and it lasts all night.

Firstly a lot of girls choose to make a party because it is funny and they can have a good time with lots of people they love. On that day you look like a princess because you wear an elegant dress, a crown, high shoes, and you dance all night. However, making the party is a bit expensive because you have to pay the lounge, the dress, the souvenirs and many other things.

On the other hand, some girls choose to travel to Disney and know the places that are there. Going to Disney is so funny and it is a great experience. You can go to the amusement parks and then go to the beach, you meet new people and their traditions, and  speak in another language. But going to Disney is more expensive than making the party. Because you have to buy tickets, rent a room in the hotel, pay in dollars, pay for the food that you eat and pay for everything you want to buy!

In conclusion it is better to make the party because you live it once in your life, and going  to Disney can be possible at any other time!

GO OUT OR INVITE YOU FRIENDS

In today's world, you have many possibilities to stay with your friends, for example, go out shopping, go to the cinema, or to a park. Or you can invite your friends to go to your house.

Nowadays it is normal (for teens) to go out, beacuse in a house they can't do the same things as children do, and they can go alone (whitout any adults).

In conclusion, for teenangers it is more common to go outside, and the children stay at home playing different games. But if we have to decide which one is better, the ideal activity is to go outside, so at the weekends we aren't 'locked' in our homes.

The difference between the series "Married with Children" in Argentina and "Married with Children" originally from the USA.
Mainly the original series is funny and entertaining but most of the jokes are not for us since we are not in that country and would not make us laugh as much.
But the Argentinian Series is also funny and has its jokes that we understand better.
In conclucion we can say they are two very good series but we prefer the Argentinian since we understand it better.
