The Case Of The Thing That Whimpered

Mr. Hemingway allowed Nils to be the  watchman that night but told him that if he saw or heard something strange he would have to  call him. . He came the next night and was ready to do his job,so he spent a few hours waiting although nothing came up, so  he thought it was the quietest night in Manhattan. While he was thinking that, he heard a whimper! He wanted to call Mr. Hemingway but had no cell ! Someone had taken it.

The next morning they found Nils lying on the ground, but this time he was dead.

'Yes you can but... please , be careful , you can be hurt too' said Hemingway 'do you want any type of protection or..? ' but  Nils stopped him ' no , I don't want any type of protection , I only want to see what's happening inside this houseshop and go out ... wait , I'll need a camera , to film all the things that could happen ' . They were leaving the place when Nils said ' it has to be this night ' and Hemingway says ' sure ? ' ' sure '.

*that night*

' I only have to survive the night and film everything that can happen ' *three hours later* ' well , only 2 more hours , but , I have to find out why the atacks are happening ' so he went off the room , and suddenly , he heard a loud noise, but it was from an animal . He turned on the lights of the lantern and he went to the place where the noises came from , which was a room next to his room , he opened the door , and a rabious dog jumped to atack him . The dog bit him but when he was tired he found a little ball , he took it and threw it to the room , the dog stopped biting him , and he ran to the ball and stayed there . So Nils turned on the lights of the room and he saw an empty dish on the floor. Quickly, Nils understaood what  had happened . He fed the dog , and he went out of the houseshop .

The next day in the morning he visited Hemingway and he explained 'What happened was that the dog had attacked the employeess because the dog had been left locked by previous owners in the building, then, every time it heard a noise, the dog hoped that someone came to give him food and once somebody opened the door the dog went out and ate the first thing that it saw as he has had no food for a long time .That 's what hurt the former workers , an enclosed dog.' Hemingway understood and everything made sense so he thanked Nils , went to the police station, told them what happened to researchers, and showed them the video that worked as evidence of the case of the thing that whimpered.

The first night Nils was sitting on a chair in front of the sitting room when he heard a whimpering sound like a cat in pain (he thought). He checked all the top floor and when he was going down the stairs he found  a dead cat nailed to the wall with a trail of blood. He kept on walking until the trail ended showing a message written in blood that  said: `Be careful that the widow always keeps her promises´. He heard the laugh of a woman and he started to run out of the building. He got to the main door and called the police.

The second day he talked to the neighbours to know if they knew something about the history of the building. All the neighbours were very scared about it and everyone kept telling him to stay away from that building and then slammed the door in his face. Until one strange man told him the story of a woman who killed his husband because he cheated on her, and a few days later she hanged herself..but  one day before she died, the women screamed out loud that if any man dared to approach her building she would kill them all.

Because of this, Nils chose a police woman to join him in the case named Laura. That night Nils and Laura were walking around the building when suddenly someone took Nils from his jacket and made him disappear. Laura freaked out and looked for Nils but when she got to the top floor she found pieces of Nils´body  and his head nailed to the wall with another blood message saying: ´Who warns never betrays´ and Laura fainted.

'Of course, but be careful' said Hemingway.

Hours later Nils was in the building as a watchman. Nothing strange happened. Only cars and trucks engines riding in the street. Nils fell asleep on a chair, he was tired. He woke up, saw his cell phone and realized that he had been sleeping for two hours. The noises disappeared and the only thing he heard was whimpers. He stood up and went to investigate. While he was walking through the halls, he came to the famous stairs, and heard something strange behind him. He turned around  and saw a person dressed in black. He couldn' t see his face because that person threw  him downstairs. He fainted. When he woke up, it was night time, and that stranger was watching him. Both stood up fast. Nils didn't know what to do, he was dizzy.

'You’ve been slept all night' that person said.

'Who are you?' Nils asked.

'My name is Matt,' he added.

They sat talking quietly, only Nils made questions. One of the questions was, "why were you hurting each watchman who came here every night?" His answer was clear:.. "I lived in this building for five months, it was all I had, until I had to leave for not paying my bills. My flat was not getting rented  so at night I slipped away and went to my apartment. Guards knew me and I knew they would never let me in, I did what I had to do."

'I think we can get you a better place to sleep, but you just will have to take care of the bills.' Nils said.

'I have no words to thank you, I was looking for places but  I didn't find anything.'

Only one more question: 'Where were the whimpers coming from?'

'I have a recorder with whimpers and it was only to scare them, nothing to worry about.' Matt added. ‘I see that it went well’.

 Douglas James Henning was an illusionist , escape artist and Canadian politician . He performed his first showat the age of 14 in the birthday party of a friend, and , before doing it , he was encouraged by the warm reception from the public. A few months later, he placed an ad in a local newspaper , so he could have some appearances on the local television in Toronto. With the intention of bringing the magic back to its "glory days " , Henning worked to perfect his craft . With external financial support , he developed a live theatrical show , Spellbound , directed by Ivan Reitman , music by Howard Shore and co - starring actress Jennifer Dale, It was a musical that combined an intense story with magic tricks by Henning . The show premiered in Toronto and broke box office records in that city. Henning modified his work after attracting the attention of the producers of New York, and took it to Broadway as The Magic Show, with songs composed by Stephen Schwartz. The show, which premiered in 1974 , was held for four and a half years and Henning earned a nomination for the Tony Awards .

On June 8, 2010 he was going to be announced to receive a star on the Walk of Fame in Canada.

In my opinion , if he hadn`t performed the show in his friends birthday , today , he wouldn`t be so famous!

Val Valentino (June 14, 1956, he has 58 years) is an American illusionist who became famous  by starring in four magic specials in Fox programme, using the stage name the Masked Magician.

 As a child, his father gave him a trick called the ball vase and this sparked his passion for magic.

 Most of his tricks were escapes. He could leave cars set on fire, boxes and tanks of water, with their hands tied and without keys. His acts aren't dangerous but this one was: his assistants tied his hands and feet, then put in a tank of water and himself had to leave it and he did it so successfully.

 I am going write about the concert in Perú of Selena Gomez. The concert was in The Jockey Club on February 2 in 2013. I have just seen the concert online and in the concert she was singing and dancing. In my opinion the first dress that she was wearing , it wasn't pretty but the second dress it was a formal dress but also It is as to exit, I loved. I like her songs , movies and series. 

 

If she does a concert in Argentina , I will go to her concert !

Romeo and Juliet

My favourite part of the movie is when Romeo and Juliet are seen for the first time and escape from their parents. I love this part because is very romantic and i feel that is the best scene of the movie.

Other scene that I like is that they are in the pool after the party, I also find it very romantic.

My favorite part of the movie is when Romero goes to find Juliet, thinking she was dead, to the church. Coming to this, he decides to kill himself because he sees that Juliet can't live , Juliet wakes up and sees that his lover is dead on her, that is where she decides to kill herself. This part is my favorite because it is one of the most important in the story.

                       Harry Potter review   


Harry Potter is the name of the famous science fiction saga directed by Chris Colombus , Alfonso Cuarón , Mike Newell and David Yates and they made 8 films ( the film number 7 has two parts so I say that they are 8 ).Those films are based on the books of "Harry Potter" written by J.K.Rowling.

                                      

Harry Potter`s story is about an orphan boy that lives with his uncle , aunt and cousin .. but they are very selfish with him and Harry hates them , however .. when he turns eleven incredible things start happening that he never has imagened and they will change all his life because he discovers that he is a wizzard! First .. he dident trust that it was true but when a very big man destroied his door in his own house .. Harry started to discover some things that he had never belived were posible. The best part for him was when he starts in "Hogwarts" a school for wizzards in which he is going to meet his best fiends , Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger.

These films aren`t short , they are very long and they lasts for about 2 or 3 hours. They have got great special effects. It`s an interesting fim because the actors are very funny and hard working too . I really enjoy how each magical objet that appears in each fims suits perfectly waht`s going on in the plot.

I love this film, I know that a lot of people doesn`t like it but in my opinion is amazing because you have hours and hours of great entreintament and I`m a Potteric (fans of Harry Potter that call themselvs Potterics) and I know that if you see all of those films , you`ll love this saga.

THE ORIGIN OF COUNTRY MUSIC

The country (also called country and western) is a musical style emerged in the 20s in rural areas of the southern United States. Its origin is the folk music of some European countries of immigrants, with other well-established musical forms in America. The name "country" replaced the hillbilly

The traditional country, is essentially playing stringed instruments such as guitar, banjo, fiddle and bass, but also frequently intervened accordion (French influence) and harmonica. In the modern country are mostly used electronic instruments.

The Carter (The Carter Family) family was the first to record a country song disk, along with Jimmie Rodgers, reforming this genre with the initial name of "hillbilly" which later would give way to simply "country". Both with their respective styles influenced many singers who followed them. In the 40's were mostly singers like Pete Seeger and Hank Williams that helped its growing popularity.

Thus, the term country, is now a catch in which different genres are included. Each style is unique in its implementation, in the use of rhythms and chords, but many songs have been adapted for different styles. For example, the song "Milk Cow Blues", an old blues tune Kokomo Arnold has been interpreted in a wide variety of styles from country, from Aerosmith to Bob Wills, to Willie Nelson, George Strait, Ricky Nelson and Elvis Presley.

Zapped new review

This film was launched in June 27 and it is called " Zapped " , the directoris  is Peter Deluise : the main charaters are Zendaya , Spencer Boldman and Emilia Mc Carthy ; this film  lasts for one hour and forty- two minutes.Also this movie is based on the fiction novel " The boys are dogs". Zapped is a comedy and fantasy film.
Zoey isa girl of 16 who starts her new life when her mother marries and she starts living with three untidy brothers , a dad and a dog.Then she gets a new application to control dogs . But one day her phone has an accident and Zoey discover that the application can also control boys so here her adventure begins
In my opinion the film is enjoyable , and fun , I really like the scene in which she ordered the boys what to do ; I have also enjoyed the soundtrack because it goes with the film rythm.Although the film hasn't got many special efeccts , you never got have it is really entretaining.
